Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly organized and multi-talented Office Manager/Bookkeeper to oversee essential administrative functions in our office. This role requires a hands-on individual who will manage accounts payable, payroll, HR tasks, and IT support while providing backup for purchasing and accounts receivable. The ideal candidate will be proactive, adaptable, and able to step in to help wherever there are gaps in our administrative processes. This is a key position that ensures the smooth day-to-day operation of the office and supports the broader team.
Key Responsibilities:

• Accounts Payable: Manage and process invoices, ensuring accurate and timely payments.
• Payroll: Process bi-weekly payroll, manage employee time records, and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
• Human Resources: Assist with recruitment, onboarding, benefits administration, and employee relations. Maintain accurate employee records.
• IT Support: Troubleshoot basic IT issues, assist with system updates, and liaise with external IT vendors for more complex issues.
• Backup Support: Serve as a backup for purchasing and accounts receivable tasks as needed.
• Administrative Assistance: Provide general administrative support and step in to handle various tasks across departments, ensuring smooth operations.

Qualifications:

• Experience: 3+ years of office management experience with exposure to accounts payable, payroll, HR, and IT support.
• Skills:
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and accounting software.
  • Experience with payroll processing and handling HR functions.
  • Familiarity with basic IT troubleshooting and systems maintenance.
  • Ability to work independently, take initiative, and solve problems proactively.
• Communication: Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Comfortable working with staff at all levels.
• Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail in all aspects of work.
