Worldwide leading company in the manufacturing of automated post-harvest packaging equipment is seeing an experienced Bookkeeper / HR Assistant.

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm

Payrate: $33.00 - $35.00

The FULL CHARGE BOOKKEEPER / HR ASSISTANT reports to the President and is responsible for, but not limited to, maintaining the day-to-day accounting functions, accruals, financial statement preparation, performing general accounting functions, assists in Human Resources and Payroll duties, as required. Develops policy and directs and coordinates Human Resources activities, such as employment, labor relations, benefits, training, and employee services by performing the following duties:

Full Time/ Work hours: Monday to Friday 8am to 5 pm - On Site Required

The essential job duties shall include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Ability to effectively manage Executive Administrative Assistant
  • Full-cycle Accounts Receivable, including Collections
  • New and current Vendor/Customer setup and maintenance
  • Accounts Payable
  • Vendor statement reconciliation and discrepancies
  • Multiple Bank, Loan, and Credit Card Reconciliations (both $USD & €EURO)
  • Work alongside, and concur with, company's Accountant Agency
  • Reconcile all Balance Sheet and Profit & Loss accounts; reviewing for input accuracy, and prepare monthly reports and journal entries, as necessary
  • General Ledger maintenance
  • Administration/preparation of Quarterly Sales Taxes Returns and Annual Business Taxes
  • Prepare Monthly and Quarterly Financial Statements
  • Liaise with parent company in Italy, and respond to requests for information
  • Prepare annual 1099's
  • Assist with Budget and Audit processes
  • Maintain business and financial documents and retention of files
  • Deposits and cash reports
  • Review all expense reports for accuracy and proper expense disbursements
  • Oversee the analysis, maintenance, and communication of records required by law or local governing bodies, or other departments in the organization
