Accountant/Bookkeeper

We are working with a trusted client of ours to find their next Accounting Bookkeeper. This role will be hands on and work in a casual environment. You will have the opportunity to own the financials and have an impact. Role is fully onsite near Dickson, TN.

Salary up to $80,000

Responsibilities of the Bookkeeper

• 
  
• Manage full-cycle accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
• 
  
• Process vendor payments, customer invoicing, collections, and cash receipts.
• 
  
• Assist with purchase orders, vendor and customer setup, and account administration.
• 
  
• Perform account reconciliations, journal entries, and month-end close activities.
• 
  
• Monitor daily cash activity and support banking functions.
• 
  
• Process sales and use tax filings and related accounting entries.
• 
  
• Prepare financial reports and ensure accuracy of accounting data.
• 
  

Qualifications of the Bookkeeper

• 
  
• 4+ years of full-charge bookkeeping or accounting experience.
• 
  
• Strong knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and month-end close.
• 
  
• Experience using QuickBooks.
• 
  
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• 
  
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• 
  
• Accounting degree or experience in manufacturing/industrial environments is a plus.
