My client is seeking a detail-oriented Bookkeeper to manage day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, and general ledger maintenance. Description
Process biweekly payroll for approximately 200 employees across multiple locations
Review payroll data, resolve discrepancies, and ensure accurate payroll processing
Handle payroll adjustments, garnishments, and special payments as needed
Assist with payroll reporting, reconciliations, and year-end activities
Prepare and post journal entries in SAP
Perform account reconciliations and support month-end close
Investigate variances and maintain accurate financial records
Process invoices and assist with audit and reporting requests
Profile
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
3+ years of accounting and payroll experience.
Experience processing payroll and supporting month-end close activities.
Strong SAP experience, including journal entries and account reconciliations.
Exposure to accounts payable and payroll operations preferred.
Advanced Excel skills and strong attention to detail.
Experience in a manufacturing or union environment is a plus.
