Bookkeeper
We are seeking an experienced Bookkeeper to support the accounting team with day-to-day accounting functions and financial recordkeeping across multiple entities. This position will work closely with the Accounting Manager and assist with Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, reconciliations, journal entries, and month-end close activities.
The organization has been established for more than 90 years and offers a collaborative work environment, comprehensive benefits, and a salary range of $60,000–$72,000.
Key Responsibilities for the Bookkeeper:
- Support the Accounting Manager with day-to-day accounting functions
- Assist with Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable activities
- Prepare and post journal entries
- Assist with month-end close processes
- Prepare account reconciliations and assist with financial reporting
- Maintain accurate accounting records for multiple business entities
- Enter and maintain financial data using accounting software and internal systems
- Work with accounting and operations teams to address accounting-related questions and support ongoing business needs
Preferred Qualifications for the Bookkeeper:
- 3+ years of bookkeeping or accounting experience preferred
- Knowledge of general accounting principles and practices
- Experience with Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
