Duties include processing payroll, managing accounts payable and accounts receivable, performing bank and credit card reconciliations, maintaining financial records, preparing monthly financial reports, monitoring cash flow, assisting with job costing, coordinating financing documentation, supporting tax preparation activities, and helping ensure accurate year-end financial reporting.You will work closely with leadership to maintain financial accuracy and support operational efficiency across multiple business divisions. For candidates currently pursuing an accounting-related education, this position also provides an opportunity to apply accounting principles and concepts in a hands-on business environment.QualificationsWe encourage candidates to apply if they meet one or more of the following experience or education pathways:Five or more years of bookkeeping, accounting, or related financial experienceA combination of relevant college, technical, or professional accounting education and practical bookkeeping or accounting experienceCurrently enrolled in a college, university, or other recognized program pursuing a degree or credential in accounting, bookkeeping, finance, business administration, or a closely related fieldCandidates should have a solid understanding of fundamental bookkeeping and accounting principles. Experience with payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, account reconciliations, and financial reporting is strongly preferred.QuickBooks experience is highly desirable, and candidates should be comfortable learning and working with accounting software and financial systems. Advanced Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office skills are preferred.Experience within construction, HVAC, plumbing, remodeling, home services, or another project-based industry is highly desirable.
