We are seeking a motivated, organized, and customer-focused Booking Agent to assist clients with researching, planning, and coordinating travel arrangements.
In this remote role, you will work with clients to understand their travel preferences, research available options, assist with reservation details, and provide ongoing support throughout the travel planning process.
This opportunity is ideal for someone who enjoys helping people, researching destinations, staying organized, and creating positive customer experiences.
Previous travel industry experience is helpful but not required. Training and ongoing resources are available.
Key Responsibilities
- Communicate with clients to understand their travel needs, preferences, and budgets
- Research hotels, resorts, cruises, tours, vacation packages, and other travel options
- Assist clients with coordinating and completing travel reservations
- Provide accurate information regarding destinations, accommodations, and available travel options
- Review reservation details for accuracy
- Communicate with travel suppliers regarding reservations and client requests
- Assist clients with reservation updates and changes when necessary
- Maintain organized records of client communications and travel arrangements
- Follow up with clients before travel to help ensure important details are addressed
- Stay informed about supplier updates, promotions, destinations, and travel policies
- Provide professional customer support throughout the travel planning process
Qualifications
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
- Organized with strong attention to detail
- Comfortable researching information online
- Basic computer and internet proficiency
- Ability to learn online booking and supplier platforms
- Strong time-management and follow-up skills
- Self-motivated and comfortable working independently in a remote environment
- Ability to manage multiple client requests and priorities
- Previous experience in customer service, hospitality, reservations, or travel is helpful but not required
- Interest in travel and helping others plan memorable experiences
