Hunton Services, a division of Hunton Group in Houston, Texas, is seeking an experienced Boiler Field Supervisor to join our team. The Boiler Field Supervisor is a hands-on leader responsible for the daily performance of the boiler service team. This position provides technical guidance, field support, technician development, and operational oversight while ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, profitably, and to Hunton's quality standards.

Responsibilities:
- Lead the daily activities of boiler technicians and provide regular updates to the Area Service Manager regarding workload, job progress, staffing needs, and customer concerns.
- Coordinate with the Resource Coordinator to schedule critical calls, inspections, quoted work, and customer commitments.
- Plan and manage larger quoted jobs, including site surveys, labor and material requirements, subcontractors, job progress, costs, and customer communication.
- Perform scheduled jobsite quality-control inspections and audit preventive maintenance inspections with technicians at least once per week.
- Review service reports, inspection findings, repair recommendations, callbacks, problematic jobs, and underperforming contracts to identify corrective actions.
- Conduct technician engagement meetings, assist with safety-meeting content, and actively promote compliance with company and jobsite safety requirements.
- Mentor technicians through field support, technical training, and coaching in customer communication, documentation, job ownership, and service pull-through.
- Develop and maintain an effective onboarding process for new technicians and help identify training needs for less experienced team members.
- Meet weekly with the Area Service Manager to review team performance, job execution, financial results, and development needs.
- Meet with customers and primary technicians at least twice per month to strengthen relationships and address service needs.
- Communicate important manufacturers, factory, safety, and technical updates to the field team.
- Partner with Sales to identify repair, maintenance, inspection, replacement, and service-agreement opportunities.
- Develop proficiency in WennSoft and understand service financials, including utilization, job costing, revenue, gross margin, and contract performance.
- Maintain a minimum monthly billable utilization target of 50% through field support, technical assistance, quality inspections, job surveys, and direct customer work.
- Participate in technician performance reviews and assist with recruiting, interviewing, onboarding, and retaining field personnel.
- Promote communication and cooperation among Operations, Sales, Resource Coordination, and other Hunton teams.
- Participate in after-hours technical support and the on-call rotation as required.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Skills and Abilities

- Extensive knowledge of commercial and industrial boiler systems, burners, combustion, hydronic systems, pumps, controls, venting, and related equipment.
- Ability to troubleshoot complex boiler issues and provide clear technical direction.
- Ability to read wiring diagrams, mechanical drawings, manufacturer literature, and sequences of operation.
- Ability to safely operate hand tools, power tools, combustion analyzers, electrical meters, pressure gauges, and other testing instruments.
- Working knowledge of job costing, labor performance, service documentation, and contract performance.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced service environment.
- Proficiency with mobile work-order systems, email, and standard business software.
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
- Ability to work outside normal business hours when required.
Education and Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Vocational or technical training, an apprenticeship, or equivalent field experience required.
- Minimum of five years of commercial or industrial boiler service experience preferred.
- Previous lead technician, foreman, or supervisory experience preferred.
- Boiler, burner, combustion, welding, safety, or manufacturer certifications preferred.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to stand, kneel, bend, crawl, climb ladders, and access rooftops and mechanical rooms.
- Ability to work in extreme heat, cold, noise, and other indoor or outdoor jobsite conditions.
- Ability to wear all required personal protective equipment.
