BOH Lean Manager Job Description
Working at a Chick-fil-A® restaurant is more than a job – it’s an opportunity for teamwork and leadership development in a positive, people-focused environment. Most Chick-fil-A restaurants are locally owned and operated by independent, franchised Operators who invest in the future of their Team Members and give back to their communities.

Waste is any activity or process that does not add direct value to guests, team members, or business operations. As our Lean Manager, you will be responsible for not only leading shifts in the back of house, but also constantly creating ways to streamline workflows and processes by reducing bottlenecks, tracking data, and improving inventory control.

-Supporting inventory counts, ordering, stock rotation, and appropriate stock levels.
-Following up on food safety, cleanliness, temperature checks, date labels, and daily checklists.
-Working alongside shift leaders to improve speed of service while maintaining food quality.
-Training and coaching team members to follow consistent procedures.
-Tracking results and communicating progress and areas needing attention
-CARE for the team and guests by driving excellence in food, speed, and service.
-Operate as a shift leader, responsible for managing labor, breaks, and workflow efficiency.
-Execute catering orders and ensure proper preparation, packaging, and delivery.
-Maintain harmony within the team and take initiative to restore it when disrupted.
