    Description

    Purpose:
    As a Body Shop Technician you would be responsible for tractor body and fender repairs.

    Responsibilities:
    1. Possess general knowledge of body repair in a correct procedure of repair to a vehicle.
    2. Ability to do work at a reasonable rate of time in a safe manner with good workmanship.
    3. Prime, paint, single stage and clear coat as appropriate on equipment.
    4. Be responsible for cleaning shop in work area as necessary.
    5. Assist with additional projects, work orders and on rush projects.
    6. Record and audit all body parts used on repaired vehicles.
    7. Perform job duties in a safe and economical manner.
    8. Other duties as assigned.

    Abilities and Skills:
    -Possess mechanical skills with ability to resolve problems -General welding skill needed to repair aluminum panels -Possess painting skills and knowledge
    -Basic computer and data entry skills
    -General welding skills necessary
    -Possess general tools for the trade, hand tools and air tools or purchase them within a timely manner
    -Eagerness to work and advance to a higher level of
    employment

    Relationships:
    Work with all levels of employees, drivers and vendors.

    Physical Requirements:
    Must be able to lift 100-125 lbs and stand for up to a 8 hour shift and have manul dexterity, with ability for stooping, bending, squatting and sitting.

    Education/Training:
    High School education or GED required, Secondary education a plus.
