Full Job Description
Join the team at Bell Ford Collision Center as a Body Shop Painter's Helper, where you'll support our skilled paint technicians in delivering high-quality automotive finishes. This role is ideal for individuals with automotive body shop experience who are passionate about vehicle repair and eager to grow their skills in a fast-paced, professional environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist painters in preparing vehicles for painting, including sanding, masking, cleaning, and surface preparation.
- Mix and match paint colors under the guidance of experienced paint technicians.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the paint shop, work areas, and equipment.
- Follow all safety procedures and ensure proper handling of paint materials, tools, and equipment.
- Support the body shop team with additional duties as needed to maintain an efficient workflow.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous experience in an automotive paint or body shop environment required.
- Ability to work in a physically demanding environment and stand for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Dependable, punctual, and able to work effectively as part of a team.
- Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record preferred.
Compensation & Benefits
