Our team is built on the belief that great service and quality are not a thing of the past - and our Body Shop Estimator plays a central role in delivering on that promise every day.A Day in the LifeAs a Body Shop Estimator at Universal Truck Service, you will start your day reviewing vehicles that have come in for damage assessment. You will conduct thorough inspections, meet with customers and fleet accounts to walk through repair timelines and costs, and draft work orders in the FullBay system after approvals. The Body Shop Estimator at Universal Truck Service is the bridge between the customer and the shop - your accuracy and communication keep everything moving.What You'll DoConduct thorough inspections of body damage on heavy, moderate, and light duty trucksEstimate repair costs consistent with expenses, profit goals, and work schedulesMeet with customers and insurance companies to explain repairs, costs, and timelinesDetermine whether to repair or replace damaged partsDraft and enter work orders into the FullBay system following approvalsPrepare damage reports and obtain necessary authorization signaturesMaintain repair records and support the final quality inspection processGo out and meet new customers ScheduleFull-time, Monday through Friday.
