Body Shop Estimator
The Motor Company is a locally owned Ford dealership in Marinette, Wisconsin, and we're looking for an organized, customer-focused professional to join our team as a Body Shop Estimator.
This is an outstanding opportunity to take on a key leadership role in our collision center. Our current estimator has been promoted within the company and will provide hands-on training to ensure a successful transition for the right candidate.
What You'll Do
As our Body Shop Estimator, you will oversee the day-to-day operation of the body shop, including:
- Writing accurate repair estimates using industry estimating software
- Working directly with insurance companies throughout the estimate and repair process
- Managing insurance approvals and payment processing
- Scheduling repairs and coordinating shop workflow
- Communicating with customers to provide updates and ensure an exceptional experience
- Ordering and tracking parts as needed
- Coordinating with technicians to keep repairs moving efficiently
- Maintaining quality standards and ensuring repairs are completed on time
- Assisting with administrative duties and documentation
- Helping identify opportunities to improve shop efficiency and customer satisfaction
What We're Looking For
- Previous automotive experience and especially collision repair or body shop experience is strongly preferred, however we will train the right candidate
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Comfortable working with computers and learning dealership management and estimating software
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Professional, dependable, and team-oriented
- Valid driver's license
