A Bodily Injury Supervisor coaches and develops a team of claims representatives/specialists responsible for the management, investigation, and resolution of injury claims, ensuring a high-quality work product, while continuously developing talent by assisting with the selection of top talent.
- Leads and develops a team of representatives ensuring the quality, accuracy and timely resolution of claims that may include up to high exposure/litigated/complex cases
- Continuously develops talent by creating opportunities for direct reports to grow and strengthen new skills
- Monitors and audits the work of team members to ensure reserves are adequately set based on known file exposures
- Promotes a culture committed to identifying process efficiencies to continuously improve how work is completed
- Self-driven and able to work with minimal oversight while helping adjusters solve complex claims in multiple states
- Collaborates well with attorneys, vendors and other external parties, while representing Tesla in official responsibilities
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
- Supervisory, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Management of litigation claims handlers
- Comprehensive knowledge of legal liability, general insurance policy coverage and the State s Tort Laws
- May perform other responsibilities as assigned
- Property and Casualty (P&C) adjuster's license in the state of domicile, plus non-resident adjuster's licenses in all other states where required-or the ability to obtain them within 60 days of starting
