Description

Bobtail Driver POSITION
AFTERNOON SHIFT — START TIME AT 1200 PM

Requirements:
  • Must be able to work weekends and workday schedule changes.
  • Experience in handling Air Freight.
  • Knowledge of Airlines Cargo locations at LAX.
  • Knowledge of Ocean CFS Cargo locations at LAX.

Responsibilities:
  • Driving 26 Ft Bobtail with Liftgate
  • Local pickups and Deliveries
  • Must have knowledge of how to route yourself to accomplish the daily.
  • Driver Manifesting (Notating P&D job descriptions, freight damages, and accessorial requests.)
  • Driver DOT Log (Tracking in and out times, mileage, Fuel up times and miles, verifying cites and total hours worked, etc.)
  • Driver Equipment Inspection Reports (notating repairs on checklist inspection needed for truck air lines, lights, tires, etc.)
  • Driver Communication to dispatch Via Work Cell (shipment updates for OFD and POD with any freight exceptions, damages, or add-ons and/or accessorial for client authorization).
