You begin by reviewing job layouts, specifications, and quality requirements so every cut lands exactly where it should. With plans in hand, you move to make-ready: mounting tooling, dialing in registration, and adjusting pressure and speeds on Bobst Platen and Heidelberg Cylinder equipment. You run predetermined pulls, verify accuracy against standards, and only then release the job into full production.
As the run progresses, you keep a sharp eye on quality—spotting defects before they become scrap—and document checks. You set up stripping tooling at the pin setting table to ensure clean, efficient removal. Throughout the shift, you capture computer data, complete forms, and keep operating and maintenance logs up to date. If anything drifts out of tolerance, you troubleshoot fast and submit maintenance requests as needed. You finish by cleaning, inspecting, and maintaining the equipment, always aligned with Snyder’s safety and quality standards and direction from your supervisor and plant manager.
