Your Mission

Own the setup, operation, and quality outcomes of our folding‑gluer line on 2nd shift. You’ll be the go-to expert turning specifications into production-ready settings and delivering consistent, high-quality results.

How You’ll Do It

1. Configure key stations: feeder, glue system, plow/fold plates, compression, pack station, and quality inspection systems.
2. Optimize for fold sequence, glue placement, paperboard thickness, and score alignment.
3. Deploy automated, computer-driven inspection to verify quality at speed.
4. Continuously watch the run, correcting variances to protect accuracy and carton integrity.
5. Perform preventive maintenance and minor repairs to keep uptime high.
6. Read job tickets, confirm schedules, track materials, and maintain precise inventory counts.
7. Finish strong: complete post-run cleanup and maintain a safe, organized work cell.
8. Model safety-first behaviors and contribute to continuous improvement.

What You’ll Need to Succeed

• Background as a Folding‑Gluer Operator in printing, packaging, or folding-carton environments (preferred).
• Hands-on experience with Bobst or equivalent equipment (highly preferred).
• Mechanical strength and problem-solving to address equipment and quality issues.
• Understanding of glue systems, scoring, folding sequences, and carton design.
• Ability to interpret production layouts and job tickets; skilled with calipers, rulers, and gauges.
• Competence in math, including measurements and conversions.
• Detail orientation, clear communication, and strong teamwork.
• Comfort working in a high-speed manufacturing setting.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
