Located at lake level in The Edgewater's historic Langdon Building, The Boathouse gives you the feeling of sitting coastal. Serving items such as Mahi fish tacos and Wisconsin favorites such as the Stella's bun chicken BLT or Clock Shadow cheese curds, we deliver a menu and service that gives our Madison lakeside a unique experience. In addition to serving Madison locals, The Boathouse also caters to guests of our beautiful 4-Star hotel and is the only restaurant in downtown Madison directly on Lake Mendota. Customers can visit us directly from the lake and tie up their boat on our pier!

Boathouse Servers are responsible for exceeding guest expectations in food and beverage by providing the highest level of consistent professional service. Boathouse Servers - with the support of additional staff (bartenders, hosts, culinary staff and management), will ensure proper setup of the server station and work areas as assigned and provide timely serving of food and beverage to all their guests. Additionally, Boathouse Servers will assist in the preparation and set up for the next meal period/next day as needed. Boathouse Servers work with a teamwork mentality by offering support to all other colleagues in the restaurant.

This position operates in a full-service, professional restaurant environment. Restaurant staff are required to use standard restaurant equipment such as point-of-sale computers, cash registers, commercial glassware and plate ware cleaning systems, etc., are required to work in our kitchen areas when receiving food orders and returning dishware. This position requires evening/weekend work.
