Benefits:
When something goes wrong, you're the person who shows up.
A fire breaks a window. A storm tears into a roof. A vehicle hits a building. A property is suddenly exposed to the weather-or no longer secure.
That's when we get the call.
We're looking for a Board-Up & Emergency Response Technician who can walk into an unpredictable situation, assess what needs to happen, grab the right tools, and get to work.
This role is ideal for an experienced carpenter or hands-on construction professional who likes working independently, solving problems, and doing work that matters in the moment.
The Schedule Is Different - On Purpose
This is a full-time position built around emergency response, not a traditional 40-hour Monday-Friday schedule.
You'll have approximately 20 scheduled working hours each week, plus assigned on-call coverage:
When you're on call, you must be ready to respond to an emergency loss within one hour.
What Happens When the Call Comes?
You'll take ownership of the initial emergency response.
Depending on the loss, that could mean:
You won't have someone standing over your shoulder telling you what to do next. We need someone who can evaluate the situation, make good decisions, and get the job done safely.
You Might Be Our Person If...
You know your way around a jobsite and have strong carpentry skills. You're comfortable with saws, drills, ladders, lumber, plywood, tarps, and construction equipment.
More importantly, you're the person people can count on.
You're calm when things get hectic. You solve problems instead of waiting for someone else to solve them. You take pride in your truck, tools, work, and documentation. And you understand that while this may be another jobsite to you, it's someone's home or business-and they may be having one of the worst days they've had in a long time.
You'll also need:
This Isn't Just a Board-Up Job.
You're often one of the first people our customer sees after something has gone seriously wrong.
Your job is to bring a little order to the chaos.
Secure the property. Protect what's left. Help the customer understand what's happening. Document the work. Reset the truck. Be ready for the next call.
If you're a skilled, dependable problem-solver who would rather be trusted to handle the situation than spend every day doing the exact same thing, we'd like to talk to you.
