    JOB SUMMARY

    The Board Governance Specialist supports the Board Governance Senior Manager in performing essential administrative and governance tasks for a local government entity, specifically focusing on responsibilities relevant to a hospital district under Chapter 281 of the Health and Safety Code. Key duties include coordinating the scheduling and logistics of public meetings, preparing and distributing meeting documents, taking minutes, assisting with follow-up on action items, and maintaining the board request tracker. This role ensures effective execution of governance processes and supports the board's compliance with legal and organizational requirements.
