BOARD COORDINATORJust Food Co-op in Northfield, MN is looking to hire a part-time Board Coordinator to provide administrative support for Just Food Co-op's Board of Directors and our General Manager. We want to reward them for their hard work by providing competitive pay, excellent benefits, and flexible scheduling.A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A BOARD COORINATORAssist Board in planning and arranging logistics for meetings and retreats.Coordination and dissemination of materials for Board meetings, and retreats, including the agenda, meeting minutes, monitoring reports.Attend Board and ownership meetings to take meeting minutes.Maintain all Board records including approved meeting minutes and bylaws in approved formats. Prepare, maintain and distribute updates to the Board Handbook and Board Policy Manual.Maintain Board calendar and task lists.Assist in the nomination and election process for open Board seats.Perform other duties and projects as directed.QUALIFICATIONSInterest in policy governance, and cooperative principles.Proficiency in MS Word, Google Suite (including drive, docs, calendar, and Sheets) Adobe Acrobat, and other related computer programs.Familiarity with cooperatives.Demonstrated writing and editing skills.Ability to handle multiple demands.Ability to work effectively independently and collaboratively with teams.Ability to prioritize tasks appropriately in a fast-paced busy work environment.Language ability - comprehend complex instructions, correspondence, and memos.WORK SCHEDULEThis board admin position has a flexible schedule, which is set between you and the General Manager.This position is only 10 - 20 hours a Month.ARE YOU READY TO JOIN OUR TEAM?If you feel that you would be right for this position, please fill out our initial 3-minute, mobile-friendly application.
