Board-Certified Surgeon, Orthopedic Referral Practice

An orthopedics-exclusive veterinary referral hospital in the Phoenix metro is hiring a Board-Certified Veterinary Surgeon (ACVS) as it grows from three to four surgeons.

Orthopedics is the entire practice here, with an environment that combines private practice with academic collaboration, and a strong emphasis on client education, mentorship, and research. Partners meet regularly to shape the future of the practice, and the hospital is looking for a surgeon who wants a genuine seat at the table.

Key Highlights:

• Join a team of three ACVS board-certified surgeons, expanding to four
• Advanced implants and fixation systems, intraoperative imaging, and 2D and 3D surgical planning
• Planned additions include CT, a total hip replacement center of excellence, and orthopedic urgent care
• Opportunities for mentorship, teaching, and research
• Collaborative leadership with input into the direction of the practice

About You:

• DVM or VMD from an AVMA-accredited school
• Valid Arizona veterinary license, or eligible
• ACVS board certification, or residency-trained and nearing board certification
• Passion for advanced orthopedic surgery and sports medicine
• Collaborative mindset and enthusiasm for mentoring
