Piedmont Healthcare is currently recruiting a board-certified OB/GYN physician to support patients living in the northern communities in proximity to our Piedmont Athens Regional location in Athens, Ga. The obstetrics and gynecology program at Piedmont Athens is growing daily and employs many physicians as well as APP/midwives and nurses. In addition, several independent ob/gyn groups also support the hospital. With more than 2,500 deliveries each year and a NICU, Piedmont Athens offers parents-to-be comprehensive maternity care, from classes to prepare for childbirth to OB hospitalist physicians in the hospital twenty-four hours a day.
Piedmont Athens Regional Hospital is a rapidly growing 400(+) bed facility which offers comprehensive healthcare services to a large part of northeast Georgia.
