Board Certified Behavior Analyst

Cortica is growing and seeking a passionate BCBA to join our team in a brand-new location in Tempe, AZ! This is an exciting opportunity to be the first BCBA and a part of a founding team. This is a relocation opportunity (relocation stipend up to $7,500 included)!

We are a unified team of doctors and therapists, specializing in neurodevelopmental disorders.

We emphasize collaboration and long-term outcomes, grounded in an assent-based, individualized approach and supported by a team of physicians, speech, occupational, and mental health therapists. Learn about our Whole-Child Model!

Position Overview

This work is meaningful and complex. Our roles are thoughtfully designed to support sustainable, ethical practice.

Based primarily out of our Tempe clinic, with approximately 50% of your caseload delivered in-clinic and 50% in-home/via telehealth to surrounding communities (roughly a 30–45 minute commute).

Schedule: 3-4 daytime hours (8-5 pm) and 1–2 evening hours (11-7) days per week extending to 6:30–7:00 PM. Our goal is to keep a balanced caseload for all our new BCBAs, so we balance daytime and evening clients accordingly.

Clinical & Administrative Support

Hybrid flexibility for supervision (when appropriate) & administrative tasks
Clinical Supervisors for case consultation and guidance
Transdisciplinary partners for collaboration across specialties
Manageable, individualized caseloads
Care Coordinators for scheduling and day-to-day logistics
BT Managers for performance and operational support
BT Trainers who lead 3-week orientation and support BCAT testing

Learning & Advancement

Internal CEUs and virtual trainings
Clinical Rounds and company-wide All Brains, ABA, Developmental Therapies, and Medical meetings
Clinical ladder with progression from BCBA I–IV
Growth into leadership, training, consultative, and operational roles

Minimum Qualifications

Master's degree in human services or a related field required
BCBA (Board-Certified Behavior Analyst) certification required
LBA (Licensed Behavior Analyst) certification required
