We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our team.
In this role, you will be responsible for assessing and developing behavior intervention plans for children with autism.
You will work closely with families, educators, and other professionals to implement effective behavioral therapies that promote positive outcomes in various settings.
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of children’s behavior and skill levels to identify needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Implement evidence-based behavioral interventions and monitor progress through data collection and analysis.
- Collaborate with parents, teachers, and other caregivers to ensure consistency in the application of behavioral strategies across environments.
- Provide training and support to staff and family members on the implementation of behavior plans.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation and records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Regularly review and update treatment plans based on data collected and observed progress.
- Advocate for the needs of clients within educational settings and community resources.
*Skills*
- Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations related to patient confidentiality and medical records management.
- Experience working with children, particularly those with autism or special education needs.
- Proficiency in behavioral health practices, including behavioral therapy techniques.
- Ability to collect, analyze, and interpret data effectively for ongoing treatment evaluation.
- Knowledge of medical documentation standards in a clinical setting.
- Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with families, educators, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Compassionate approach to patient care that fosters trust and engagement with clients.
