Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst (BCaBA) to join our team. The BCaBA will work under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to implement behavior intervention plans, conduct assessments, and provide direct therapy to clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for working with individuals with autism and other developmental disabilities and possess excellent communication and organizational skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement behavior intervention plans designed by the supervising BCBA.
- Conduct assessments and assist in developing individualized treatment plans.
- Provide direct one-on-one and group therapy sessions.
- Collect and analyze data to monitor progress and adjust interventions as needed.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including parents, teachers, and other professionals.
- Provide training and support to Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) and other staff.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of sessions, assessments, and progress reports.
- Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and supervision.
Qualifications:
- Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst (BCaBA) certification.
- Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Education, or a related field.
- Experience working with individuals with autism and other developmental disabilities.
- Strong understanding of ABA principles and techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Compassionate, patient, and adaptable.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with functional behavior assessments (FBA) and behavior intervention plans (BIP).
- Familiarity with data collection and analysis software.
- Bilingual (Spanish/English) is a plus.
Compensation:
- Competitive salary ranging from $38 to $45 per hour based on experience and qualifications.
