    HiFyve is hiring a Technician – Blow Molding in the plastics industry in Greer, SC!


    Salary: $22–$40/hr (DOE)

    Shift: 3rd Shift (11:00 PM – 7:30 AM)

    Location: On-site – Greer, SC


    Job Duties and Responsibilities

    • Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on blow molding machines and related support equipment

    • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair processing, mechanical, and electrical issues on PET bottle production lines

    • Monitor and adjust blow molding processes to optimize bottle quality and minimize scrap

    • Complete bottle, preform, and mold changeovers according to established procedures

    • Follow complete startup and shutdown procedures per company and machine requirements

    • Assist with machine installations, upgrades, and new technology implementations

    • Maintain accurate downtime, maintenance, and production documentation throughout the shift

    • Support process improvement initiatives focused on safety, efficiency, ergonomics, and cycle time reduction

    • Assist with cross-training technicians and performing related processing and maintenance tasks


    Education Requirements

    • High School diploma or equivalent required

    • Technical school training in blow molding or injection molding preferred

    • Minimum of 3 years of industrial processing or maintenance experience


    Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

    • Knowledge of blow molding equipment, processes, and auxiliary systems

    • Basic mechanical and electrical troubleshooting and repair skills

    • Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English

    • Basic math and computer skills

    • Ability to follow verbal and written instructions with minimal supervision

    • Experience performing preventative maintenance in an industrial manufacturing environment

    • Ability to operate material handling equipment and become forklift certified within 60 days

    • Understanding of OSHA safety standards and Lockout/Tagout procedures

    • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks including standing, climbing, kneeling, and repetitive motions

    • Willingness to work overtime and weekends as required
