    HiFyve is hiring a Blow Molding Technician in the plastics manufacturing industry in Garland, TX!


    Salary: $30/hr - $40/hr

    Shift: Full-Time – 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shift available.

    Location: On-site – Garland, TX


    Position Overview

    We are seeking a technical expert with extensive blow molding knowledge to support high-volume plastics manufacturing operations. This individual will serve as the go-to resource for technical problem-solving, process optimization, and team training. The role requires deep, hands-on experience with blow molding machinery, tooling, and process engineering.


    Job Duties and Responsibilities

    • Lead advanced troubleshooting of blow molding machinery and downstream equipment

    • Optimize processes to improve product quality, reduce scrap, and maximize uptime

    • Train and mentor technicians and supervisors on best practices for machine setup and changeovers

    • Collaborate with plant leadership to identify process improvements and capital investment needs

    • Support installation, commissioning, and validation of new equipment or technology upgrades

    • Serve as the subject-matter expert for blow molding technical challenges at the Garland facility

    • Ensure compliance with OSHA and internal safety standards while driving operational excellence


    Education & Experience Requirements

    • Technical or vocational degree/certification preferred; equivalent experience considered

    • 10+ years of direct blow molding experience required (extrusion blow molding preferred)

    • Proven ability to lead advanced troubleshooting and process improvement initiatives

    • Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems

    • PLC troubleshooting experience a plus

    • Strong leadership, training, and mentoring skills

    • Ability to partner with plant leadership and technical staff to resolve critical challenges

    • Problem-solving mindset with a drive to implement lasting technical solutions
