Location: Lenexa, KS 66215 (Overland Park Area)
Employment Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Shift: Evenings | 4:00 PM – 12:00 AM
Compensation: Competitive Pay + Shift Differential

We are seeking an experienced Medical Technologist (MT) or Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) for a full-time, permanent opportunity in the Overland Park, Kansas area.

This position is within a smaller laboratory dedicated exclusively to Blood Bank services. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in immunohematology and enjoy working in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine and specialized Blood Bank testing, including blood typing, antibody screening, identification, and compatibility testing.

• Ensure accurate documentation and reporting of laboratory results.

• Follow established quality control procedures and regulatory standards.

• Assist with troubleshooting and resolving complex Blood Bank testing issues.

• Collaborate with laboratory staff to maintain high standards of patient care and laboratory efficiency.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in a Science-related field.

• MT(ASCP) or MLT(ASCP) certification.

• MT candidates: Minimum 3 years of Blood Bank experience.

• MLT candidates: Minimum 5 years of Blood Bank experience.

• Strong knowledge of Blood Bank procedures, laboratory safety, and quality standards.
