Blood Bank Technologist – Overnight Shift

Location: Detroit, MI 48201
Shift: Night Shift (11:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
Employment Type: Full-Time

Seeking a Blood Bank Technologist to perform routine and complex transfusion services testing on the overnight shift in a busy laboratory setting in Detroit.

Responsibilities:

ABO/Rh typing, antibody screening, and crossmatching
Resolve antibody identification and compatibility issues
Issue blood products per hospital and regulatory guidelines
Support emergency release and STAT transfusion needs
Maintain accurate lab records and ensure QC compliance

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Medical Laboratory Science or related field
ASCP certification (MLS or BB) preferred or eligible
Blood bank experience strongly preferred
Ability to work independently overnight
