About the Role:
Ouachita Contract Manufacturing, LLC is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Blending Technician for our Monroe, Louisiana manufacturing facility. This is a hands-on technical production position responsible for preparing batches according to approved formulas, written procedures, and GMP requirements.


This position requires strong attention to detail, basic math skills, accurate documentation, and the ability to follow written instructions exactly. Reliability and consistent attendance are essential.


Responsibilities:
  • Weigh and stage raw materials according to approved batch records and formulas
  • Operate blending and mixing equipment in accordance with written procedures
  • Add ingredients in the correct sequence, quantity, and timing
  • Perform required in-process checks and accurately document results
  • Complete batch records, production logs, and other GMP documentation clearly and in real time
  • Verify material identities, lot numbers, quantities, and equipment prior to use
  • Clean and sanitize blending equipment and work areas according to established procedures
  • Perform basic equipment inspections and report abnormal conditions or malfunctions
  • Immediately report deviations, incorrect materials, weighing discrepancies, or other quality concerns
  • Follow GMP, safety, PPE, hygiene, and contamination-control requirements at all times
Qualifications


  • Ability to read, understand, and follow written formulas, batch records, and procedures
  • Ability to perform basic math, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and unit conversions
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to document work accurately
  • Dependable attendance and punctuality
  • Ability to work independently while following established procedures
  • Manufacturing, blending, mixing, compounding, chemical, food, pharmaceutical, cosmetic, or similar production experience preferred
  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • Prior GMP experience preferred but not required; training will be provided
 Reliable attendance is an essential function of this position

Physical Requirements


  • Ability to stand and work on your feet for extended periods
  • Ability to lift and handle materials weighing up to 50 lbs
  • Ability to bend, reach, climb steps, and work around industrial mixing equipment
  • Ability to wear required PPE
