The Blender Operator is responsible for accurately measuring, mixing, and blending raw materials to produce high-quality fragrance or chemical products according to production formulas and specifications. This role plays a key part in ensuring product consistency, safety, and efficiency within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

SALARY: $22/hr.
LOCATION: Portland, OR
SCHEDULE: Full-time; Monday-Friday | 9:00am-6:00pm

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Measure, weigh, and blend raw materials according to batch sheets and production formulas to ensure accurate and consistent product quality 

  • Operate, monitor, and adjust blending equipment, tanks, and mixers to support safe and efficient production operations 

  • Perform quality control checks and maintain accurate production documentation, including batch records, ingredient usage, and inventory data 

  • Clean and sanitize equipment, troubleshoot operational issues, and follow all safety, chemical handling, and PPE compliance procedures

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

  • Previous experience in manufacturing, blending, chemical production, or related industrial environments preferred 

  • Ability to accurately follow detailed instructions, batch formulas, and precise measurement requirements 

  • Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality control, safety, and production accuracy 

  • Comfortable working with chemicals, fragrances/scents, and industrial manufacturing equipment in a fast-paced environment 

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and utilize basic math and documentation skills effectively

 

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
 Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 lbs regularly and stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods throughout the shift. Must be able to work safely around chemicals, fragrances/scents, and industrial equipment while wearing required personal protective equipment (PPE).
