Blender/Chemical Plant Operator

Pay Rate: $25-$28 per hour

Summary:

• Location: East Hanover, NJ
• Duration: 6+ Months
• Hours: 6AM to 2:30PM

Responsibilities:

• Follow Standard Operation Procedures
• Offload and unload bulk chemicals
• Transfer chemicals as required
• Perform blending of batch operations
• Fill out required paperwork
• Continually strive to learn and improve
• Perform lock out tag out on equipment per procedure/guidance
• Perform regular inspections to maintain compliance
• Perform preventive maintenance and quality control checks
• Transfer of materials and material sampling
• Monitor and record process data as required
• Proactively respond safely and quickly to process abnormalities
• Maintain good housekeeping
• Package products in various containers as needed
• Perform tasks to maintain inventory of materials, including cycle counts, SAP transactions, tank gauging, calculating tank quantities and transfers
• Perform other duties as assigned

• Perform necessary tasks to maintain inventory of materials

• Active role in learning the equipment, processes, and systems
• Participation in organizational improvement teams, such as Safety Committees, Quality Improvement, Productivity/Cost Reductions Teams
• Ability to share knowledge to train/mentor other team members
