We are currently hiring an experienced Blanchard Operator for a precision manufacturing company in Addison, IL.
The ideal candidate will have previous Blanchard Grinding experience and be comfortable reading blueprints and using precision measuring tools.
- Schedule: Monday–Friday
- Pay: $18.00–$22.00 per hour, depending on experience
- Available Start Times:
- 4:00 AM–12:30 PM
- 5:00 AM–1:30 PM
- 6:00 AM–2:30 PM
- 7:00 AM–3:30 PM
Responsibilities
- Set up and operate Blanchard grinding machines
- Determine machine setup based on job prints
- Adjust machine settings, feeds, and speeds
- Load and feed materials
- Read and interpret blueprints, prints, and technical drawings
- Measure parts using micrometers, calipers, dial indicators, and gauges
- Inspect finished parts for quality and accuracy
- Identify and report defective or non-conforming parts
- Complete production and shop-floor paperwork
- Follow safety procedures and PPE requirements
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Communicate effectively with coworkers and supervisors
- Participate in production meetings as needed
