Description:

SUU's Biology Department is seeking a creative, Work Study-eligible Biology student to help produce social media and other content to highlight the amazing things going on in the department.

Responsibilities:

• Work with the department Administrative Assistant in gathering media and info for social media posts.
• Create weekly posts regarding activities, labs, field trips, and other events happening in the Biology Department.
• Communicate with faculty and clubs on research, projects, and events.
• Assist the Administrative Assistant in other projects/tasks.

Qualifications:

• Have strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills and can maintain social media, email marketing, and other writing assignments with little supervision.
• Must have own camera.
• Familiarity with digital media and print marketing materials
• Must be FERPA trained and willing to follow FERPA guidelines.
• Must be work-study eligible.
• Preference will be given to Biology majors.
