    Express Employment Professionals is hiring dependable Bindery Production Assistants to support a high‑volume commercial print facility producing catalogs, flyers, brochures, and educational materials. You will help move products from press to finishing and mailing, keeping quality high and orders on schedule.

    Schedule and employment details

    • Shift: Day shift, 4 days per week, 8:00 AM–8:00 PM
    • Schedule: Rotating workdays; weekends may be included based on production needs
    • Job Type: Full‑time
    • Overtime: Required as needed
    • Training: On‑the‑job training provided
    • Openings: Multiple

    A day in the role

    You arrive a few minutes before 8:00 AM, review work orders, and confirm the next run with your lead. As product comes off the counter stacker, you jog and stack it neatly on skids, verify alignment for bindery or mailing, and keep the line supplied. Throughout the shift, you perform quality checks, maintain a clean, safe work area, and communicate any issues quickly so orders stay accurate and on time. When priorities shift, you step in where needed and take on additional tasks assigned by management.

    What you will do

    • Interpret work orders; follow written and verbal directions
    • Jog, align, and stack printed product from the counter stacker onto skids
    • Set up product for bindery and mailing operations with correct orientation
    • Monitor output quality for accuracy and consistency
    • Keep the workstation organized and hazard‑free
    • Assist with other production tasks as assigned by management

    What you bring

    • Strong attention to detail and focus on product quality
    • Comfort working in a fast‑paced, time‑sensitive environment
    • Basic math; ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
    • Ability to interpret units of measure and make conversions
    • Reliable attendance, solid work ethic, and teamwork
    • Willingness to work 12‑hour shifts and overtime as needed
    • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform repetitive tasks

    Preferred

    • High school diploma or GED
    • At least 1 year of manufacturing experience
    • Basic small‑package handling/packaging knowledge

    Physical demands

    • Standing for long periods
    • Frequent bending, twisting, kneeling, and squatting
    • Lift up to 50 pounds
