    Company Overview:
    A locally owned and nationally recognized Printing, Signage, and Marketing Services company is looking for an experienced Bindery Operator.

    This is where our Production Team comes in! 

     Job Summary: 
    You will be responsible for setting up and operating equipment as well as assisting in other tasks done with mail production, shipping and delivery.
     
    Our Bindery Operator works closely with customers and our sales team, providing support with the goal of increasing sales and customer satisfaction.
     

     Responsibility Overview: 
    • Perform bindery function as noted on work orders/job tickets. This may include: folding, cutting, padding, numbering, coil binding, collating, scoring, perforating, drilling, stitching or stapling, laminating, wrapping, and presorted mail prep.
    • Establish priorities by dates on work orders/job tickets and when necessary, priorities set by management.
    • Package jobs, complete job tickets/work orders and delivery receipts as necessary and place them in designated areas.
    • Arrange for delivery or shipping of items as needed using shipper designated on work order/job ticket.
    • Keep equipment clean, lubricated, and operable. 
    • Order supplies required using proper procedures.
    • Reject poor quality or incorrect jobs and notify management.
    • Comply with all OSHA requirements.
    • Work with other staff members to exceed customer satisfaction and service expectations. 
    • Other duties as assigned.
     
    Skills we are looking for:
    • Minimum of six months in a production-type workplace. 
    • A willingness to be proactive and take action.
    • Excellent communication skills (verbal & written).
    • Team player that can work with others to deliver a project on time.
    • Clean driving record required.
    • Experience with PrintSmith POS system is a plus.
    • Local delivery experience is a plus.
    Compensation: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
