TheBindery Operatoris responsible for operating a variety of finishing and bindery equipment to produce high-quality printed materials that meet customer specifications, production deadlines, and quality standards. This role performs cutting, laminating, binding, folding, packaging, and other finishing processes while maintaining a safe, efficient, and organized work environment. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, mechanically inclined, and committed to producing exceptional work in a fast-paced manufacturing setting. - Cross-Department Production Support
QUALIFICATIONS:- High School Diploma or GED.
- 1-2 years of finishing, bindery, print production, or related manufacturing experience.
- Ability to read and interpret job tickets and production instructions.
- Experience operating production equipment safely and efficiently.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Basic math skills, including rates, ratios, percentages, fractions, and measurements.
- Basic computer and Microsoft Office skills.
- Ability to safely lift materials and work in a fast-paced production environment.
Preferred- Experience operating bindery and finishing equipment such as cutters, die cutters, laminators, folders, stitchers, glue machines, shrink wrappers, drills, coil binders, sewing machines, or grommet equipment.
- Point-of-purchase (POP), commercial print, packaging, or display manufacturing experience.
- Knowledge of print finishing processes, quality inspection techniques, and production workflows.
- Experience with production data collection and job tracking systems.
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing, 6S, or continuous improvement practices.
