BIM/VDC Modeler - Civil & Site Work (Remote)

Our client, an established civil and site construction contractor, is looking for a BIM/VDC Modeler to join their team remotely. This role builds the 3D models that drive estimating, field layout and machine control on earthwork, site work and underground utility projects.

What you'll do:

• Build and maintain 3D surface, grading and utility models from civil plans

• Create machine control (GPS) models for dozers, excavators and graders

• Run quantity takeoffs (cut/fill, aggregate, pipe) to support estimating

• Coordinate clash detection between utilities, structures and site features

• Work with estimators, PMs and field crews to keep models current through construction

What you bring:

• Required: hands-on experience on civil earthwork, site work and/or underground utility projects

• 3+ years modeling with Civil 3D, Trimble Business Center, Carlson, or similar

• Machine control/GPS model experience a big plus

• Ability to read civil plans, profiles and grading plans

• Self-motivated and comfortable working remotely with field teams
