BIM Manager / Design Technology Leader

What You’ll Be Doing as the BIM Manager
  • Establish, build, maintain, and evolve firmwide BIM standards, Revit templates, content libraries, and documentation workflows.
  • Create practical systems that improve consistency, quality, and alignment across architectural projects.
  • Lead onboarding and training programs related to BIM tools, Revit workflows, cloud collaboration, and project delivery standards.
  • Provide real-time support, troubleshooting, coaching, and technical guidance to project teams.
  • Advise teams on modeling strategies, BIM best practices, tool utilization, and advanced Revit workflows.
  • Administer BIM-related platforms, including project setup, user access, system organization, and cloud-based collaboration environments.
  • Maintain and upgrade BIM content, templates, and standards in response to software updates, code cycles, and changing project requirements.
  • Partner with software providers and internal leaders to ensure design technology tools are implemented and supported effectively.
  • Evaluate current workflows and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, coordination, documentation quality, and team performance.
  • Stay current on emerging BIM technologies, design technology trends, and architecture industry innovation.
  • Support teams working in Dallas while helping create scalable standards that can be applied across multiple projects and offices.

About You as the BIM Manager
  • You have demonstrated experience working in an architecture firm and understand how BIM supports project delivery.
  • You bring advanced proficiency in Autodesk Revit and Autodesk collaboration platforms.
  • You have experience developing and managing BIM standards, templates, workflows, and content libraries in a professional architectural environment.
  • You are comfortable teaching, coaching, troubleshooting, and supporting teams with varying levels of technical experience.
  • You can translate complex technical requirements into practical tools, clear standards, and accessible training.
  • You are highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities with confidence.
  • You are comfortable taking ownership of both strategy and execution.
  • You bring a continuous improvement mindset and enjoy identifying better ways for teams to work.
  • You have a professional degree in Architecture.
  • You bring a minimum of 8 years of relevant professional experience within an architectural environment.
  • Architectural licensure or progress toward licensure is strongly preferred.
  • You are prepared to commute to a local office three days per week, with additional office visits as needed.
