Description
A leading services organization in Columbus, Ohio is seeking a new BIM/CAD Designer to support construction, automation, and controls projects. This full-time role involves producing accurate and high-quality drawings, working closely with various teams throughout the project lifecycle.
Responsibilities:
- Producing accurate AutoCAD drawings according to standards
- Ensuring adherence to drafting standards, layering conventions, and version control
- Converting field data into updated drawings and as-built documentation
- Reviewing drawings for accuracy and constructability
- Collaborating with various teams to clarify scope and requirements
- Performing other duties, as needed
Qualifications:
- 1+ years of experience
- Associate Degree in Drafting, Engineering Technology, or equivalent experience
- AutoCAD drafting ability
- Experience in construction or technical environments
- Solid understanding of drafting standards and revision control
- Attention to detail
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work independently and in team settings
Desired Qualifications:
- Technical college or certification Program Education
- Revit or Navisworks exposure
