Looking for a Billing Role Outside of Healthcare?
Our client, a growing organization on the west side of Indianapolis, is seeking a Billing Specialist to join their accounting team. This is a non-medical billing position focused on customer invoicing, account management, and billing support. The ideal candidate will have experience in commercial, industrial, logistics, manufacturing, construction, or service-based billing environments and enjoy working in a fast-paced, team-oriented office.

Responsibilities
Generate and process customer invoices accurately and in a timely manner
Review billing documents, contracts, and supporting information for completeness
Ensure billing rates, pricing, and customer information are accurate
Investigate and resolve invoice discrepancies and billing-related issues
Work closely with customers and internal departments regarding billing questions
Maintain billing records and customer account information
Assist with collections activities and invoice follow-up as needed
Reconcile billing transactions and prepare reports
Support month-end close and other accounting projects
Qualifications
2+ years of billing, invoicing, accounts receivable, or related accounting experience
Experience in non-medical billing environments required
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines

Pay Details: $24.00 to $27.00 per hour
