    Description

    NREIG is seeking a dynamic, organized, collaborative and service-driven, full-time Billing Specialist to join our KC team. Our Billing Specialists support NREIG’s financial success by ensuring timely payment of client accounts receivables and delivering exceptional service to clients throughout the billing process.
     
    What you'll do:
    • Client Billing & Customer Service
      • ​Answer client phone calls and respond to billing-related inquiries
      • Work the billing ticket queue/inbox
      • Follow up on account issues and obtain information from customers or other departments
      • And, make positive contributions to customer satisfaction while striving to improve the client experience.
    • Accounts Receivables & Collections
      • ​Monitor and analyze AR reports
      • Follow up on collections efforts resulting from audits
      • Make recommendations on write-offs
      • Notify sales of pending cancellations due to non-payment
      • Coordinate cancellations in accordance with company guidelines
      • And, process timely payments.
    • Compliance, Confidentiality & Team Collaboration
      • ​Protect confidential information
      • Support month-end closing of assigned agencies
      • Assist in sending escrow billing lenders for renewals
      • Prepare client refunds
      • And, assist with large client requests.
    What you bring: 
    • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
    • Strong attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy
    • Proficiency in MS Office and tech savvy with proprietary platforms
    • Demonstrable organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills
    • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive financial data with discretion
    • A commitment to delivering exceptional customer service and continuous process improvement
    • Ability to work well independently and as part of a team
    • Four-yer degree of equivalent professional experience
