We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Billing Specialist / Administrator to oversee medical billing operations and support payroll processing for our behavioral health clinic. This role plays a critical part in maintaining financial accuracy, ensuring timely reimbursement, and supporting internal payroll operations.The ideal candidate has experience in medical billing, understands payroll procedures, and is comfortable working with financial data, insurance providers, and internal leadership. This position works closely with the Clinic Administrator and leadership team to ensure operational and financial compliance.

High school diploma or equivalent
Knowledge of ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS coding and medical billing regulations
Working knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial insurance policies
Understanding of basic accounting and payroll principles
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, HRIS software, and EHR systems
Strong organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to handle sensitive financial and employee information with confidentiality
Detail-oriented with strong accuracy
Must be able to commute reliably to Saint Paul, MN 55130 or plan to relocate
Preferred
Associate degree or higher in accounting, healthcare administration, or a related field
Minimum 2 years of medical billing experience in a provider setting
Previous payroll processing experience
Data entry and 10-key experience
