About the Role
Join our dynamic team as a Billing Product Manager and drive the transformation of legacy billing operations onto a modern Pega-based platform. As the bridge between business, operations, and technical teams, you will own the end-to-end product lifecycle, from discovery to delivery, shaping the future of our billing ecosystem. Responsibilities
- Define and execute the product vision, roadmap, and functional requirements for migrating and optimizing billing processes on the Pega platform.
- Partner with business, finance, and operations stakeholders to analyze current workflows, identify improvement areas, and design automated, scalable solutions.
- Lead requirements gathering, map user journeys, develop user stories, and define acceptance criteria that drive high-quality technical deliverables.
- Manage all phases of project delivery, including maintaining milestone trackers, risk registers, and status reports to ensure clear visibility and accountability.
- Drive backlog prioritization, facilitate sprint planning, and lead requirement refinement to keep cross-functional teams aligned and on track.
- Identify and proactively address project risks, gaps, and blockers, ensuring seamless collaboration across multiple teams.
- Oversee business validation, UAT planning, change management, and release planning for a smooth transition from legacy systems.
- Establish operational metrics and feedback loops to assess process efficiency and user satisfaction, driving continuous improvement.
Required Skills and Experience
- 5-10 years' experience as a Product Manager or Technical Project Manager delivering business process modernization or platform implementation.
- Proven success converting legacy processes into modern, automated workflows.
- Skilled in requirements gathering, drafting functional specifications, user story development, and user acceptance testing criteria.
- Strong project management rigor: experience maintaining project plans, risk registers, and cross-functional status reports.
- Exceptional communication: experienced in facilitating discovery sessions, process mapping, and driving consensus among diverse stakeholders.
Preferred Skills
- Experience designing, configuring, or implementing workflows on the Pega platform.
- Familiarity with Pega AI Blueprint for workflow design and modeling.
- Domain expertise in billing, invoicing, payments, financial operations, or partner lifecycle operations.
- Knowledge of SOX-compliant process creation.
