Work Arrangement: Onsite during initial training preferred, with potential hybrid flexibility afterward. Fully remote candidates with especially strong legal billing and Aderant experience will also be considered.
Position Overview
Our Firm is seeking an experienced Legal Billing Manager to provide immediate, hands-on support following the firm’s recent implementation of Aderant.
This role combines legal billing responsibilities with team guidance, troubleshooting, and training. Candidates with billing management, supervisory, or team-lead experience are encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities
Manage assigned legal billing work accurately and independently.
Provide day-to-day guidance and support to billing team members.
Help train colleagues on Aderant and resolve billing workflow questions.
Prepare, review, and process client bills in accordance with client billing requirements.
Support electronic billing, including BillBlast and LEDES 1998B files.
Identify and resolve billing discrepancies, electronic submission issues, and rejected invoices.
Coordinate with attorneys, accounting staff, and other internal stakeholders to complete billing accurately and on time.
Help the team strengthen billing processes following the Aderant implementation.
Qualifications
Strong legal billing experience and hands-on Aderant proficiency required.
Ideally, at least two to three years of Aderant experience.
Experience with eBilling, BillBlast, and LEDES 1998B electronic billing files.
Prior billing management experience preferred; supervisory or team-lead experience will also be considered.
Ability to contribute immediately, troubleshoot issues, and train others.
Strong attention to detail, organization, and communication skills.
Availability to begin as soon as possible.
Compensation
Hourly pay based on experience.
