IDR is seeking a Billing Analyst to join one of our top clients for an opportunity in Dallas, TX. In this role, you will support a healthcare organization by managing traditional Medicare billing and collections to ensure accurate, timely reimbursement. This position is ideal for a revenue cycle professional who can independently troubleshoot complex claim issues and drive balances to resolution in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
Position Overview for the Billing Analyst:
- Manage Medicare accounts receivable from billing through collections to support timely reimbursement
- Research, analyze, and resolve complex claim issues, including payment variances and outstanding balances
- Identify, work, and prevent denials by supporting appeals and following Medicare guidelines and compliance standards
- Partner with internal teams to obtain required documentation and ensure claims are processed accurately
- Utilize healthcare billing systems (Epic preferred) to document actions, track outcomes, and maintain productivity standards
Requirements for the Billing Analyst:
- 1+ years of experience with Medicare billing and collections
- Hospital revenue cycle experience
- Strong understanding of Medicare rules, regulations, and reimbursement processes
- Experience working accounts from billing through collections
- Ability to analyze and resolve claim issues independently
