Bilingual Translator (English-Spanish)

Our client, a Global Power Technology Leader company, is looking for a Bilingual Translator (English-Spanish) for their Fletcher, NC location.

Responsibilities:

• The Bilingual Production Translator supports effective communication across manufacturing operations by providing English-to-Spanish and Spanish-to-English translation for employees and leadership.
• This role is primarily based on the production floor and is intended for someone who enjoys working directly within a manufacturing environment.
• The position is hands-on, highly visible, and focused on supporting day-to-day production activities.
• Provide real-time translation between English-speaking and Spanish-speaking employees during production activities.
• Assist supervisors and team leads with communicating safety expectations, quality standards, production goals, and work instructions.
• Support employee onboarding and training activities to ensure understanding of workplace requirements.
• Translate operational information, safety documents, and work-related communications when necessary.
• Remain actively engaged with production employees throughout the shift.
• Build knowledge of manufacturing processes and equipment to effectively support production operations.
• Promote clear communication that contributes to a safe and productive work environment.

Requirements:

• Must be fluent in both English and Spanish with strong verbal communication skills.
• Experience in a manufacturing or production environment is preferred but not required.
• Ability and willingness to learn manufacturing equipment and machine operation.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.
• High school diploma or equivalent required
