EverStaff is seeking a Bilingual Litigation Paralegal for a reputable personal injury law firm in the Chincago area!
The Litigation Paralegal provides direct support to attorneys handling active litigation matters. This position plays a key role in case preparation, document management, scheduling, and trial readiness, while also serving as a point of contact for clients and external parties.
Key Responsibilities
Provide administrative, clerical, and data entry support for litigation teams
Manage attorney calendars and coordinate scheduling
Arrange depositions, mediations, hearings, meetings, and pre-deposition conferences
Organize and maintain case files and legal documents
Prepare, draft, and format legal documents including pleadings, motions, affidavits, and subpoenas
File documents electronically through the Illinois E-Portal System
Assist attorneys with trial preparation, hearings, depositions, and conferences
Handle outgoing correspondence via email, standard mail, and certified mail
Communicate with clients in a professional and responsive manner
Coordinate Court Calls and Zoom hearings
Perform additional duties as needed to support litigation operations
Minimum 2 years of litigation paralegal experience
Minimum of 1 year of personal injury experience is preferred
Prior trial experience is a plus
Familiarity with e-filing in state and federal courts preferred
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
Ability to thrive in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Highly organized with strong attention to detail
Capable of managing multiple priorities simultaneously
Collaborative, team-focused approach
Compendation & Benefits
$50,000-$70,000 based on experience
