Job Description
Summary: We are seeking a reliable, hardworking, and mechanically inclined Bilingual Shop Helper / Driver to join our team in Pompano Beach. In this role, you will assist with general shop maintenance, tool and equipment handling, heavy lifting, and driving/delivering parts and equipment across South Florida.
Key Responsibilities
- Shop & Equipment Support: Assist technicians with shop upkeep, tool organization, heavy lifting (50+ lbs), and basic mechanical support.
- Driving & Deliveries: Safely operate company vehicles/trucks to transport equipment, parts, and materials to client job sites.
- Bilingual Communication: Communicate clearly in both English and Spanish with shop supervisors, team members, and clients.
- Safety First: Adhere to all shop safety rules, PPE requirements, and driving safety standards.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bilingual Requirement: Must be fully fluent in both English and Spanish (verbal and written).
- Technical Experience: Minimum 1 years of hands-on experience in diesel engine diagnostics, heavy equipment maintenance, or hydraulic repair is a plus not required.
- Driver’s License: Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (Required).
- Tooling Proficiency: Capable of operating diagnostic software, heavy shop tools, welding equipment, and power/hoisting gear.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift 50+ lbs, bend, stretch, and work in both shop and outdoor field environments.
- Location & Commute: Must be able to reliably commute or relocate to Pompano Beach, FL 33064 prior to starting work.
